If you’ve struggled to lose weight despite your best efforts, biology may be playing a bigger role than willpower.
TrustyHealth offers physician-guided medical weight management through telehealth – available for Tennessee and Kentucky patients only.
Meet privately with a physician to discuss your health, weight-loss goals, and whether an FDA-approved GLP-1 weight-management medication such as Wegovy® (semaglutide), Zepbound® (tirzepatide), or other appropriate weight-management medications may be appropriate for you.

This is not a quick fix.
It’s a bridge to long-term metabolic health.
Natural First — When It Makes Sense
I encourage patients to build the foundations for natural, sustainable weight loss—and especially encourage starting with our Natural Weight Loss Program when BMI is below 30.
But sometimes GLP-1 medication can provide the extra support needed to get started.
Medication may be worth considering when you have:
- BMI of 30 or higher
- BMI of 27+ with a weight-related health condition
- Repeated difficulty losing or maintaining weight despite lifestyle efforts
- Significant hunger, cravings, or difficulty controlling appetite
- Weight-related health risks that make weight loss more urgent
The goal isn’t medication instead of healthy lifestyle changes.
When appropriate, medication can provide additional support while you build the habits that support long-term success.
Could GLP-1 Treatment Be Right for You?
BMI is only part of the picture. Your physician will also consider your overall health and medical history before recommending treatment.
GLP-1 medications may not be appropriate for everyone, particularly if you:
- Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
- Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2
- Have a history of pancreatitis, severe gastroparesis, or other medical conditions that may affect whether GLP-1 treatment can be used safely, etc.
Not sure whether you qualify?
That’s okay. Your physician will review your individual medical history and determine which treatment options may be appropriate for you.
